This is one of the first shots with my new housing! I was about 90 feet down in the Lost Blue Hole on the south side of Rose Island when I spotted this Lionfish perched on a ledge.
Lionfish are great photo subjects because they don’t swim away when you approach them. They just sit there and let you get as close as you want or as you dare!
This was the first real test of the new housing and strobe and so far so good. No leaks and the strobe fired every time. It was great to have an underwater camera again. I got a few more decent shots on this first trial run so I will be posting them over the next few days.
